Louis P. Batson III AIA

President and Principal-in-Charge

Louis claims he can find any given document in the blizzard of paper that covers the furniture and floor in his office. People who come here tend to stay, which speaks volumes about the kind of employer he is. Having assembled an intelligent, highly motivated group of professionals, he’s happy to let them do what they do best.

He received a B.S. in architecture and a master’s with a concentration in health facilities planning and design from Clemson University. He’s active professionally, serving on the State Board of Architectural Examiner’s and committees with NCARB and the AIA. He maintains close ties with his alma mater as a visiting lecturer and critic. An NCARB certificate holder, he is registered in Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee.

As the firm’s president, Louis seeks to add value to every design project, particularly during the conceptual phases. While he expects and encourages his colleagues to develop their own close relationships with the firm’s clients, he remains available for consultation.
