“We remain actively engaged with our projects, even after the project is complete.”
John Butch, AIA, CSI
Project Architect
John joined us in 2005 as a Project Architect. He has a B.S. in Pre-Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Clemson University, and is NCARB-certified. His work experience includes large plant designs for a major tire manufacturer, schools, and prototype designs for a wide range of restaurant concepts. Over the course of his career, John has worked with a number of South Carolina design firms, so he brings a useful perspective to our commitment to best practices.
His work here focuses primarily on construction administration, coordinating with building code officials and consulting engineers, as well as handling post-construction occupancy coordination with the client. "It's a key part of our quality assurance," he says. "Integrating design with engineering and construction is fundamental to client satisfaction." This ongoing engagement is part of the firm’s emphasis on long-term relationships and allows us to make sure our designs evolve to meet the changing needs of our clients.
John’s currently completing construction administration on a six-story Patient Care Tower addition to the hospital at Oconee Medical Center.
